As the first port of call for finding a NHS Dentist try NHS Choices. If you are really struggling to find a NHS Dentist there are, in some areas, Dental Access Centres.

The centres will not register patients, but anyone who is in need of dental treatment will be able to receive it. Dental access centres provide a complete range of NHS dental services including routine as well as urgent care. The centres are aimed at improving access to dentistry. There does not seem to be a definitive list of Dental Access Centres but if you use the ‘Dental Access Centres’ to search the web they do appear by area.

The Community Dental Service provides treatment for people who may not otherwise seek or receive dental care, such as people with learning disabilities, housebound people, and people with mental or physical health problems or other disabling conditions which prevent them from visiting a family dentist.
